The T-Birds jumped out to an early lead by earning four runs in the top of the second inning. Bronco pitcher Dusten Knight walked the first four batters and was then relieved by pitcher Luis Flores.

Flores pitched a walk and brought the second run in for the T-Birds. The last two runs of the inning came when infielder Ronnie Burton Jr. hit into a fielder’s choice and outfielder Marcus Romero stroked an RBI sac fly.
