BRIEF: Water pipe burst on Main Street

A severed pipe thread slowed road work Monday at 18 N. Main Street.

Cedar City Water Superintendant Robbie Mitchell said the line was severed when people working on a manhole cover hit it with a jackhammer. Mitchell said construction was delayed while the line was patched.
