Police on campus investigate theft

Public Safety Officer Chris Garrison said campus police are investigating an alleged theft that occurred on campus last week.

Garrison said computer equipment is involved.

He said he was not able to provide information on who the suspects are, how many people were involved or how many computer equipment parts were stolen.

Garrison said public safety officers are working on the case and that there is no estimated date on when the information could be released.

“With investigations there are no time limits,” he said. “We can’t release information early because it would jeopardize the case,” he said.

Garrison said he could not provide any further information until it was cleared with Public Safety Chief Rick Brown.
