There were approximately 200 extra doses, according to an e-mail to faculty and staff from the Student Services Office. Those extra doses were offered to faculty and staff who were in the high risk groups classified by the Southwest Utah Public Health Department.

Those high-risk groups include pregnant women, care givers to children under 6 months old, people under 24 years old and health care and emergency response workers.

Students in the nursing program helped administered the vaccine, Assistant Professor of Nursing Alan Pearson said.
