Cedar City Police have arrested three Cedar City teenagers in connection to a string of burglaries dating back to as early as June 19.
Because the suspects are juvenile, the police are withholding their names at this time.
However, Cedar City Police Sgt. J.R. Robinson said in a statement, the trio had been investigated for a total of 160 vehicle burglaries, but only 89 have been confirmed.
Robinson said the CCPD arrested a 17-year-old male after his fingerprints matched evidence from a burglary.
After the arrest was made, two others were arrested after subsequent interviews with the original suspect.
Robinson said the three juveniles’ charges come off of $2,000 in missing property, which including items such as mp3 players, cell phones, cash and cameras.
It is unknown if the three teenagers are still being held by CCPD and no court date has been scheduled for the suspects at this time.
