Amid the horror stories of ill-planned H1N1 clinics around the country, Tuesday’s vaccination clinic at SUU was a success.
Administrators, staff and students who made it possible deserve praise for a job well done, and the Journal appreciates their hard work.
The clinic went all day in the Sharwan Smith Center, and by all reports was a smooth and well-planned clinic, vaccinating at least 900 students as well as some faculty and staff.
The clinic was well advertised and students had ample time to sign up to recieve a vaccine.
Every student who signed up to get a vaccination was able to receive one, making the event a success.
Thanks to SUU administrators and the Southwest Utah Public Health Department, SUU is a little more protected against this health threat.
The opinions expressed above are the collective perspective of the University Journal Editorial Board. The editorial board meets every Monday at 5:45 p.m. and Thursday at 5 p.m. in room 176C of the Sharwan Smith Center.
