Despite rough weather and tough competition T-Bird track athletes brought home season bests from Texas State University and Brigham Young University this weekend. A snow storm Thursday night in Provo left the BYU track ice-covered by Friday morning, but it did not stop senior Carlos Valle from throwing a season best 54.
Junior outfielder Jenavieve Purcell and senior outfielder Norian James combined to go 6-for-8 at the plate and drive in 5 runs to lead the T-Bird softball team to a 12-3 victory over Centenary Saturday and claiming the three-game series.
